Trip to Hell's Canyon, Oregon July '09
We went to Hell's Canyon to visit Candy's uncle, Jim. He showed us where he drives cattle down some pretty steep hills! This canyon is the deepest in the USA!!
Arriving in Joseph, OR

We spent a week at the end of June at Fairmont Hot Springs, B.C. We took Candy K. with us. She had her own suite, complete with kitchenette, bedroom, and living room! She like having her own space!

The beginning of the river before you see the canyon....
We walked 1/2 mile uphill along a walkway overhanging the rock wall. Long ways to the river below! Good thing for a hand rail....
Candy going through an open cave to the falls.
Above the lower falls. The trail continues another 1 1/2 mi. to the upper falls, but we were pooped!
